Auwalu Ali Malam: Kano Pillars’ Star Ready to Shine in NPFL

As the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season gears up, Kano Pillars’ star Auwalu Ali Malam is brimming with confidence and determination to lead his team to new heights.

The 23-year-old attacker, who has been a cornerstone of Kano Pillars since his debut, is eager to make a significant impact in the upcoming campaign. Playing primarily as a left winger, Auwalu’s versatility and skills have made him a vital asset for the team.

Ahead of their Matchday one clash against newly promoted Ikorodu City, Auwalu expressed his unwavering commitment to guiding Pillars to victory.

“I’m determined to carry Pillars on my shoulders and secure a win this weekend,” he told Pulse Sports.

Reflecting on the challenges posed by traditional powerhouses like Enyimba and Rangers, Auwalu remained unfazed.

“Every year, Enyimba and Rangers present a tough challenge, especially in their home games. But this year, we’re prepared to overcome those obstacles and emerge victorious, by God’s grace,” he stated.

With a clear ambition in mind, Auwalu expressed his aspiration to become a top goal scorer in the league.

“Kano Pillars will be in a strong position, and Ali Malam will be among the contenders for the highest goal scorer,” he concluded.
