This will be the first time Bafana Bafana trainer Hugo Broos re-unites with his players since end of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) expedition in Ivory Coast.
Broos, named a 32-member preliminary squad for the upcoming FIFA Series international friendlies pilot project in Algeria later this month.

The FIFA event is expected to run from 18-26th March, 2024.
The continental brone medalists play Andorra first on 21st March in Annaba before the final contest against hosts Algeria 5 days later.
A final squad will be revealed by the head coach in coming days.
