Rangers International of Enugu has secured a spot in the next round of the CAF Champions League after a 1-1 draw against Zilimadjou.
The Nigerian champions took a 1-0 lead in the first leg of the preliminary round and held on to that advantage despite conceding a goal in the second leg.

Kenechukwu Agu scored the decisive goal for Rangers in the 77th minute, giving them a crucial advantage. Zilimadjou responded with a goal in the 84th minute, but it was not enough to overturn the first-leg result.
Rangers International will now face either Saint Louis of the Seychelles or Esperanca Sagrada of Angola in September. A win in that matchup will qualify them for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
