Samson Siasia: Former Super Eagles coach eyes return after FIFA Ban

Former Nigerian national team coach Samson Siasia is poised for a return to coaching after serving a FIFA-imposed ban.

Siasia, who also had a successful playing career with FC Nantes, has been absent from the coaching scene for several years due to a five-year ban for alleged match-fixing.

However, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) reduced his ban, and it is expected to expire by the end of August.

With the ban nearing its conclusion, Siasia is eager to get back into coaching.

He is reportedly considering opportunities within the Nigerian domestic league as a potential stepping stone for a return to managing at the highest level.

Siasia previously managed the Super Eagles from 2010 to 2011 and again in 2016.
