Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has finally secured a loan move, joining Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray for the next four months.
This news comes after a tumultuous transfer window for Osimhen, who was heavily linked with a move away from Napoli but ultimately failed to secure a permanent transfer.
The Loan term is Four months with no buy clause included in the loan agreement.
Osimhen reportedly requested a break clause in the loan deal that would allow him to leave for a top European club in January.
Galatasaray will cover Osimhen’s €9-10 million salary during the loan period.
Osimhen reportedly prioritized a reduction in his Napoli release clause, from the current €130 million to a more manageable €75 million.
The Deal Comes Together:
Following Osimhen’s failed permanent transfer last weekend, Galatasaray approached Napoli on Monday and were able to secure the loan deal before the transfer window closed.
This loan move offers Osimhen a chance to regain playing time and potentially showcase his talent to attract interest from bigger clubs in the upcoming January transfer window.
