What You Need to Know About Inter Lagos FC

The privately owned Football Club, Inter Lagos was unveiled in September 2023 in Lagos Lagos state, by the Cofounder, Lanre Vigo.

The Cofounder while speaking with Naira Sports, Lanre Vigo said the existence of Inter Lagos arose when the people around him inspire him to fall in love with Football.

“Lagos being the most popular state in the world needs to have this kind of club. Just like AC Milan and Inter Milan in Italy. However there will be two international ruling teams in Lagos: Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos FC in Nigeria,” he said.

The Cofounder, while speaking about the production for the team so far, asserted that the team is just entering a new League and it will be difficult for them to acquire the necessary production ahead of the League.

“We will make sure we stay intact in the League. That is the way we can know the in and out of the League.”

In Vigo word, he said the club aimed to be in the Nigeria Premier League in the next three years.

“We want to be recognized as one of the big teams in the country, and to be mentioned when people are talking about the professional Nigeria Football Club.”

Speaking about how to project the team with Media, he noted that the importance of media in promoting and development of the team with a lot of content is the main priority the executives are working towards.

“The importance of media which we have to put in our daily content. So that the people will always be aware of what is happening in the Club, – about the use of players, and what is happening behind the team.”

“I was once a sports agency, I manage the media for Thunder Amusan, Asisat Oshoala in Kano,” he narrated.

The privately owned club will begin their football journey from the Nigeria National League in 2023/2024 season.
