2024 AMAPRO Championship gets July date

Organizers of AMAPRO Football Championship have announced July as date for this year’s edition of the tournament.

The Brainbehind the championship, Shogo Shodunnke who disclosed this in Ilorin on Tuesday explained that this year’s edition will come with lots of new innovation that will make it more colorful and memorable.

Shodunnke stated that, AMAPRO Soccer Market will take place in three centres in Kwara State to select exceptional players that will participate in the main AMAPRO proper.

“We have added more impetus to this year’s edition which we will unveil before the kickoff date.

“Apart from physical aspect of exposing the talents and shortening the gap between the professional and amateur footballers, we intend to notch it up technologically.

“We expect the participating teams to show more commitment and dedication than ever in this edition and are assuring them of a memorable championship,” he said.

16 teams will compete for honors and trophy as well as gaining more visibilities in this year’s AMAPRO Football Championship.

Notable among them NPFL All-stars, NNL All-stars, Abraysports FC, AMAPRO Sporting Academy, KFA, JSCA FC from Benin Republic, Jazzy Stars FA, Gateway FA, Kasam FA, Da Faria FC, HMK FC among others.

Abraysports FC emerged champions in the last edition after beating Kwara Football Academy, KFA by a lone goal in the final.
