Coach Drey, manager of Ibadan’s Adeyemi FC, has declared his team’s determination to win the Ibadan Football Council (IFC) league in their debut season.

Encouraging his players during a training session, Coach Drey highlighted their readiness and high spirits for the remaining matches.

“Being new to the league, some might underestimate us,” he said. “But we believe in our abilities and consistent strong performances. Winning the league is our target. We’ve prepared diligently and won’t give up.”

While urging his players to maintain their winning momentum, Coach Drey acknowledged the invaluable support of his backroom staff, emphasizing their role in the team’s achievements.

Currently, Adeyemi FC sits strong in the IFC league, winning 7 out of 11 matches played, drawing 2, and losing only 2.

Their next challenge comes on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, as they face Marvelous FC at 4 pm at Olubadan Stadium in Ibadan.
