The Nigeria National league side Ekiti United has failed to honour their President Federation cup round of 64 match against Nigeria Premier League (NPFL) club side Plateau United.

NAIRASPORTS Confirmed that the reason for them not to honour the match is that they want to focus on their remaining two NNL matches.

Ekiti United is battling with relegation in the NNL this season, sitting in tenth position in the conference A with 20 points. They must win their two remaining matches before they can have a chance to stay in the Nigeria National league.

Plateau United has advanced to the round of 32 in this year President federation cup. They’ll wait for their next opponent when the round of 64 matches completed.
