The draw for the groupstages of the Women’s Olympic Football tournament was finally conducted on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at the Pulse building in Paris, France.
With four CAF sides still in contention for a spot at the finals, fate of two winners from the ultimate round have learnt about their potential opponents.
CAF 1 ( Nigeria/ South Africa) is pooled in group C that has current World Champions Spain, Japan, and Brazil.
CAF2 ( Zambia/ Morocco) falls in group B with four time Olympic winners USA, Germany, and Australia.
Hosts France are in group A alongside Colombia, New Zealand, and reigning Champions Canada.
The final two African representatives will be known next month after conclusion of the fourth round.
