Nigeria’s young star, Ibrahim Ogede, has revealed that he modeled his football career around Polish football star Robert Lewandowski.
Ogede of Iganmu Tigers disclosed this to NAIRA SPORTS after scoring a hattrick to help his side win over Valiant in the Creative Championship Cup.
With his goal powers, he emerged with the Man of the Match award in a goal-fierce clash (3-2) at the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena, Onikan.
Ogede confirmed that his hattrick success is the result of the efforts of his teammates, “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for this Man of the Match award. It’s not just a recognition of my efforts but a testament to the contributions of each member of the squad,” he said.
He continued, “The assists I received from my teammates, which I was fortunate to convert into goals for the hat-trick, highlight the importance of teamwork and the exceptional chemistry within our group.”
The Iganmu Tigers said further that he is looking forward to being like the captain of the Poland national team and Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski.
“I am looking forward to being like Robert Lewandowski because he has done great things in football which i believed i will do more and beyond,” he said.
