Remo Stars secured a dramatic victory against Kano Pillars in their matchday 34 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash. Captain Nduka Junior emerged as the hero, capitalizing on a Kano Pillars goalkeeper error in stoppage time to snatch all three points for the home side.
The game started brightly for Remo Stars with Ahmed Akinyele scoring in the 6th minute. However, Kano Pillars fought back and equalized through Salisu Mustapha just after halftime.
Just when a draw seemed inevitable, Nduka Junior struck gold. Capitalizing on a mistake from the Kano Pillars goalkeeper in the dying moments of the match, he netted the winner to send the Ikenne crowd into a frenzy.
