NPFL: Sporting Lagos takes War to Ikenne

It will be a clash of the Titans when the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) witnesses the first southwest derby of the season on match day four as Sporting Lagos travel to Ikenne for a date against Remo Star.

The Noisy Lagosian is set to build on their away performance when they picked up a vital point on the road when they held Akwa United to a barren draw in Uyo.

More also, having pipped the Daniel Ogunmodede-tutored side when the two met at the Super Eight pre-season final in Lagos last July, Sporting Lagos would be ecstatic to record the same feat in the league.

However, Sporting Lagos in their last three games in the league are yet to concede a goal while Remo Stars would be basking on their away as they play at home this Sunday.

Both sides would have a big score to settle after their pre-season differences.

This match is set to kick off at 4 pm on Sunday 22nd October.
