NWFL: Adugbe Olamide brace sinks Sunshine Queens, targets 15 goals for the season

Adugbe Olamide propelled the Rivers Angels to a 3-0 triumph over the Sunshine Queens in a dazzling display. The talented forward, who recently joined from Abuja-based side Naija Ratels, has showcased outstanding form since her summer move to the former NWFL champions.

After the game, the elated striker thanked God for her two-goal feat and extended appreciation to her teammates, stating, “It makes me feel excellent to score two goals today, and I appreciate my teammates for that.” She also revealed her ambitious target of netting 15 goals this season, emphasizing her commitment to helping the team qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Undeterred by her petite stature, Olamide openly shared her aspirations of pursuing a football career beyond the country’s borders and representing the national team. She asserted, “I aim to go to Europe, which means I play well. I also set a target of playing for the national team; representing Nigeria will be a big deal.”
