Super Falcons captain Onome Ebi is thrilled as Naija Ratels secure their first win in the Nigeria Womens Football League (NWFL) with a 2-1 triumph over Adamawa Queens in Abuja.
The victory against Adamawa Queens marked the first three points that the Abuja-based team secured in the league this season.
In their opening game, a home loss to Nassarawa Amazon by 3 goals to 1 set a challenging tone for the Super Falcons captain’s side.
The second game was 2-0 defeat to Damaz Ladies away from home.
Naija Ratels staged a comeback for a late victory against Adamawa United. The Super Falcons Captain, speaking after the game, said, “I am feeling thankful for the win against Adamawa Queens. We keep pushing.”
As Naija Ratels aims to maintain momentum, they are set to enter match day 4 in the league.
