Doma United’s goalkeeper, Osayi Kingdom, has set a new milestone in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by achieving his 9th consecutive clean sheet in 11 matches played.
Osayi secured his 7th clean sheet in a row during Doma United’s 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes, propelling his team to the top of the NPFL. The goalkeeper’s consistent excellence throughout the season included thwarting all advances from the Niger Tornadoes attack.
The former MfM goalkeeper, reflecting on his remarkable 630 minutes without conceding a goal, expressed gratitude, stating on his Twitter handle, “If God be for who can be against me. Thank you Jesus for yet another clean sheet #7 in a row and #9 altogether. Your greatness, O God, is beyond description; your love towards me is so amazing!! And your name is above all.”
Osayi’s outstanding performance has positioned him as a contender for inclusion in the Super Eagles, possibly as a replacement for the under-fire Uzoho.
