One of Japan’s leading foundations, Taiyo International, has generously contributed a new set of Rugby equipment to the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation.
Known for championing grassroots sports development globally, the foundation provided the federation with Rugby balls, training ladders, and bags.
Expressing gratitude for the timely support, NRFF President, Dr. Ademola Are, acknowledged the foundation’s consistent backing for grassroots sports and specifically for rugby.
“We appreciate the support for rugby, which is crucial for our national teams’ training camps and grassroots development of the game. Your passion for sports development at the grassroots is evident through repeated donations, and we are sincerely grateful.”
Dr. Are expressed hope for Nigeria’s participation in the Rugby World Cup, envisioning a day when they can thank those who contributed to their journey.
Taiyo Foundation’s commitment extends beyond this occasion, having previously made significant contributions to the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
