Ahead of their second game in National Women’s Soccer League ( NWSL), debutants Bay FC have received a timely boost of Zambia international Rachel Kundananji.
Joined them on a World record fee, the former Madrid CFF player was yet to kick a ball for her new employer masters.
The 23 year old has resumed training with rest of the team ahead of their trip to Washington Spirit this weekend.
Picked up a knock while on international duty with Zambia in the Olympics qualifiers, she wasn’t able to make the match day squad in the opener against Angel City.
Her presence adds more fire power on the frontline that already has Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala.
Last season, Rachel finished second on the top scorers chart in Spain after scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances.
