AFCON 2023: Stanley Nwabali might miss Angola clash – Jose Peseiro

Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro has given an update about the first-choice goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali ahead of the Angola clash.

The Super Eagles goalkeeper picked up an injury against Cameroon in the round of 16.

After picking up the injury their have been speculations that Nwabali wil not be in post against Angola.

Confirming the goalkeeper’s status, Peseiro disclosed that he will still undergo another test to confirm his availability on Friday.

He said, “We have to wait for a late fitness test today, if he is not ready, I have other goalkeepers Uzoho and Ojo, who I have believe and trust their abilities, if Nwabali is not fit, I trust Uzoho.”
