After conclusion of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations ( AFCON) preliminary round games, 4 nations have qualified for the final group stage draw.
A total of eight lowly-ranked countries took part in the first qualification path.
Eswatini, Chad, Liberia, and South Sudan are the ultimate winners from this phase.
The quartet join the other 44 nations that were initially exempted from the preliminary round.
An official date for the group stages draw is expected to be announced by the Confederation of African Football ( CAF).
Morocco, are the hosts of the 35th edition of the continental showpiece.
