AFL: we can’t pay a dime to watch Enyimba match – Uyo fans

The Enyimba Football Club, Uyo fans on Sunday, 22nd October lamented over payment for gate fees, saying they cannot pay a dime to watch Eyimba match in their State.

This came with the effect of low show up of spectators in God’s Will Akpabio Stadium, Uyo where the Eyimba FC faced Wydad AC in quarter finals first leg for 2023 African Football League (AFL) held on Sunday 22nd October.

According to a Twitter handle, Dorcas Koki Sports Diva said “See how empty the stadium is for Enyimba. Fans outside are quite entitled. In their words ‘stadium wey Akpabio build for us, We dey come watch Super Eagles free, na club football Una want make we pay for.”
