After beating Nigeria 2-1 on matchday one, the Uganda U-20 Men’s National team return in action today against one of the tournament’s favorites Senegal at Accra Sports Stadium.

Head coach Morley Bekywaso is confident that his players can upset another continental giant at the ongoing African games.

“I thank my players and the technical team for the work done in the first game but that was just the beginning. We are going to face Senegal, a very tough team, number one in Africa and very knowledgeable about the game.I have trust my players and I know they will perform as good as they did against Nigeria.”

“We are aware of what they bring to the table and our preparations have been looking at how we can hurt them. They are very good in aerial presence and we have tried to work on that during the last few training sessions.” He said.

Champions in 2015, Senegal commenced their campaign with a 1-0 narrow victory over debutants South Sudan.

The game comes with a lot at stake as maximum points on the day sees one of the two sides boost it’s chances to advance to the next stage.

In the other group B fixture, Flying Eagles take on the Junior Stars of South Sudan.
