Delight Isaac: Meet Dannaz Ladies’ NWFL first goal of the season scorer

Newly promoted Dannaz Ladies has recorded their first win in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) against Naija Ratels.

Naija Ratels who registered more shots on target than the hosts, they went home with a two-goal deficit. 

Dannaz Ladies striker Isaac Delight’s brace helped the Lagos-based to record first victory of the season.

A goal each in the first and second half helped Dannaz record their debut goal in their maiden NWFL season. 

The club’s assistant captain Solaty Fatimoh solidifying the control of the game from the wing while Delight maximised the only attempts her side had on Wednesday.

Solaty’s effort in the second half paid off for her team as she assisted Delight to the club’s second goal of the campaign. 

While speaking with Journalist after the game, Delight  expressed, “it was great pleasure, I am very happy. Being in Dannaz is a great pleasure and carrying the team to victory. I didn’t start with the team in the last game. This is my first game and I am very happy about it.” 

Delight also added that the Super Falcons’ captain Onome Ebi is a source of inspiration for her being a product of the grassroot that migrated globally. 

Dannaz Ladies will host Nasarawa Amazons on Matchday three.
