The Chairman of the Oyo State Tennis Association, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has shown support for the state representatives at the ongoing tennis competition in Abuja.

This was revealed in a statement signed by his Personal Assistant on Sports Matters, Olusola Alabi, noting that this support is a typical act of Dr. Fagbemi as the chairman of the association and a sports-loving individual.

Dr. Fagbemi urged all the state representatives to focus on their goals and strive to return home with good news.

“Our players need support, and as the chairman, I will never relent in supporting them anytime, anywhere. I always want to see them excel in all competitions they participate in, and I will keep on supporting them in all ways. I just appeal to them to focus on the game over there and bring back positive results,” he emphasized.

The chairman noted that the government can’t do it alone, and it is very important for individuals who want our sports to grow to show support and contribute their efforts.

Oyo State representatives will continue to focus on victory in the DAVNOTCH game, which will commence on Monday, despite previous defeats in some other categories.

Mr Olushola said Dr. Fagbemi will continue to support sports activities in Oyo State to help them discover their talents and achieve their goals in life through sports.
