Estonian slackliner and Guinness World Records holder, Jaan Roose, surprised the good people of Lagos as he walked on a rope from Sterling Towers to Onome rig, Marina in the state.
The 31-year-old, is a three-time world champion and he holds numerous world records and the first athlete to execute a double backflip on a slackline.
Jaan Roose started slacklining at the age of 18, he is from Estonia and has multiple world records and is a three-time world champion.
In 2021, he traveled to the city of Bosnia and Herzegovina to engage in 100-meter-high acrobatics.
His slacklining has thrilled the crowds all over the world with his unique tricks.
His ability has also led to him performing as a stuntman in Hollywood films, including Assassin’s Creed, and appearing in Madonna’s MDNA World Tour.
The Red Bull’s high-flying Estonian slackliner, turned the Centre of excellence into his personal playground.
Jaan, known for his gravity-defying feats worldwide, added a new chapter to his adventure book with the ‘Perfect Lagos Selfie slackline project.
He traversed a highline strung from the Sterling Bank Headquarters in Marina to the Onome oil rig at 350 meters long and 60 meters high skimming the clouds above the newly commissioned Blue Line Rail.
This high-wire act not only captured Lagos’s skyline in all its glory but also Roose’s unparalleled skill flair for the extraordinary.
