Doma United Goalkeeper, Kingdom Doma Osayi became the first goalie in the Nigeria Premier Football League history to have two assists and a clean sheet in a derby.
Osayi notched two assists as Doma United defeated their noisy neighbors Gombe United 3-0 at the Pantami Stadium in their first-ever Savannah Derby on Matchday 7 of the NPFL.
After a drab first half, the second 45 minutes came alive as the Savannah Tigers took the lead in the 50th minute through Emmanuel Ekpeyong’s goal with Osayi providing the assist.
Osayi made another assist, as the away side raced into a two-goal lead very quickly. This time Abubakar Abdullahi was the goalscorer.
Emmanuel Jesam then put the icing on the cake when he made it three-nil in the 83rd minute.
