NFF start search for Peseiro replacement as Super Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) came out to declare Super Eagles managerial position vacant after talks with Jose Peseiro hit deadlock.

Finished as runners-ups at the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), expectations to renew contract of the Portuguese tactician failed to materialise.

It is reported he rejected an improved $ 80,000 deal as against his asking earning of $ 120,000 per month.

For the past few days, Peseiro penned down an emotional farewell message, thanking the Nigerians.
