Nigeria, six others set for WAFU B U-17 Boys tournament

Nigeria U-17 National team forms part of the seven countries set to feature at the WAFU B youth event in May.

Other participants include Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, and Niger.

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria make return as defending champions.

Accra, the capital city of Ghana, has been voted by WAFU Zone B panel as host city for the 2024 edition.

The regional tournament will also serve as qualifiers for the Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations( AFCON).
