Eagles forward Moses Simon out for rest of the season

The France-based forward didn’t finish Super Eagles friendly against Mali on Tuesday, leaving the game shortly after the half-hour mark.

The reason from his premature omission came after collusion with Les Aigles goalkeeper.

Few moments later, Moses Simon was quickly withdrawn from the pitch on a stretcher.

Following the nasty incident, Nantes have come out to issue out an update, regarding status of their player.

The canaries confirmed that he suffered from a fractured fibula, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

“ We are all with you Moses 🫂🇳🇬

Moses Simon was injured yesterday against Mali. Our Nigerian striker suffers from a fractured fibula which means the end of the season.

Get well soon @Simon27Moses 👊”

This comes as a huge blow for Nantes who are currently in fight to avoid relegation from the top flight.
