NPFL hammer lands on Katsina United for dress code violation

The Nigeria Premier Football League has sanctioned Katsina United over inappropriate dressing of their player.

Katsina United was fined for inappropriate display of their player’s name and number during Matchday 11 against Sporting Lagos.

Sporting Lagos defeats Katsina United

Sporting Lagos defeated Katsina United by a lone goal at the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena in Onikan.

Clement Naantuam broke from the left and evaded a sea of legs marking him before letting a low effort into the bottom right corner to give the tech boys the lonely goal.

NPFL hammer lands on Katsina United for dress code violation

The League body has ordered Katsina United to pay ₦1million for the inappropriate display of the player’s name and number while the Kits Manager, Masudu Lawal received a one year ban from all NPFL activities for improper conduct.

The club is free to submit to the decisions or elect to appear before a disciplinary commission for a review. This they must communicate in writing to the NPFL Legal and Compliance Unit within 48 hours.
