NPFL: Sporting Lagos Struggle against Niger Tornadoes in Lagos

Sporting Lagos struggled to defeat Niger Tornadoes in Lagos in NPFL Match day Five at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Sporting Lagos recovered from their 2-1 loss against Remo Star last weekend with a slim 2-1 victory over Niger Tornadoes.

Sporting Lagos took the lead through a cross from Clement Naantuam which was connected by Jonathan Alukwu by 30 minutes. 

Junior Lokosa double the lead at Extra minutes of first half 45+2 minutes.

The game took a little twist in second half when the visiting team pull one back at 68th minutes and the visiting team would have level up at 75th minutes but was ruled offside.

Niger Tornadoes was better in the second half putting home side under pressure seeking to equalize.
