Uganda U-20 National team, the Hippos, wrapped up the 13th edition of African Games with silver after another continental defeat to fellow counterparts from Ghana.
The Black satellites needed a last minute strike from Jerry Afriyie to sink the resilient East African giants at Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
Despite the defeat, Uganda return back home having attained their best ever finish at the multi-Sport event.
Twenty five years ago they finished fourth at the same competition in South Africa.
Meanwhile, the women’s side clinched bronze after beating Senegal 6-5 on penalties in the third play off staged on Thursday.
