Zambia’s Barbra Banda joins NWSL in another World record fee

Her move from Chinese outfit Shanghai Shengli to National Women’s Soccer League in USA makes it the second-most expensive Women’s transfer in History.

On Friday morning, Orlando Pride officially confirmed the acquisition of Zambia international Barbra Banda in a blockbuster deal.

A total of $ 740,000 was splashed out, remarking it as one of the largest All-In investments on a player in NWSL History.

The lethal forward penned down a four year contract running till the 2027 season.

Last month, it should be remembered compatriot Rachel Kundananji crossed over from Spain to the same league for a World record fee.

Banda’s move now means Southern nation Zambia boost of the two most expensive players in Women’s football.
