AfricanGames: Falconets eye Semi-final spot

Ambrose Ahimbisibwe

The Nigeria U-20 Women’s National side are back in action today with a tricky fixture against Senegal at Cape Coast Stadium.

The Falconets who kickstarted their title defense with a 2-0 victory over Morocco, face a well rested side.

The Senegalese didn’t play on matchday one following Cameroon’s withdrawal at this year’s African games.

Currently top of group B, a win for Nigeria will see them sail through to the Semi-finals.

Looking superior compared to opponents, head coach Chris Danjuma will be hopeful that the girls get the job done.

Nigeria, are the defending champions after success at the 12th edition five years ago in Morocco.
