Nasarawa Amazons coach Christopher Danjuma remains confident in his team’s ability to compete in the ongoing NWFL Super Six tournament in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, despite their recent setback.
Danjuma’s comments follow a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bayelsa Queens in their second match, leaving them without a win so far in the competition.
“There’s nothing that happened here that has not happened before, whether we are still in contention or not we qualified for the super six and be here, I think we’re going to fight to the end. Yes, we’re still in contention because anything can happen” Danjuma said.

In addition the gaffer said “ there’s no team that does not have a flaw we will keep up strong we didn’t score a goal we will keep working on it. Said coach Danjuma.
Nasarawa Amazon are yet to score a single goal at the ongoing super six, drew their first match against Heartland Queens and lost to Bayelsa Queens in their second match leaving them on one point on the table. There next match is against Rivers angels on Wednesday 22nd, 2024.
