Nandozie Chiamaka crowned best goalkeeper in France

Super Falcons and Paris FC goalkeeper, Nandozie Chiamaka was named the best in her position at the French D1 Arkema Awards for the 2023/2024 campaign.

To win the coveted prize, she beat competition from Lyon’s Christiane Endler, and Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of PSG.

The recognition comes after a string of stellar performances in posts that earned her a lot of praise from most football outlets, and pundits.

Chiamaka saved seven penalties across the league, and UEFA Champions League, the most achieved by any custodian in Europe.

Besides that, was also named in the best eleven together with Malawian international Tabitha Chawinga who was took home accolade for the best player of the season.
