In a memo signed by the acting director of competitions, Ruth David, the NFF has announced the extension of the club registration deadline for the 2024 Federation Cup until December 15th.

Additionally, the submission of completed player forms for license production will take place from January 2nd to January 8th, 2024, with a late submission incurring a fee of N500,000.

Registration fees are set at N150,000 for men’s teams and N100,000 for women’s teams, with late registration fees of N200,000 and N120,000 for men and women clubsides, respectively.

The sharing formula for generated funds reveals the NFF receiving 60%, while state FAs will receive 40%. The NFF emphasizes that the 60% funds must be deposited into the Federation’s Remita Account by December 18, 2023.

The NFF has not yet communicated the dates for the preliminary rounds and finals but warns that any state playing finals before the official date will face a fine of #1,000,000.

For the annual and oldest competition in Nigeria, the Federation will impose fines of #10,000 for every yellow card and #20,000 for every red card.

Lastly, the NFF insists that the submission of licenses and forms in batches will not be tolerated.”
