…a Major Boost For Nigerian Football Development
Ahead of the kick-off of Nigeeria’s second division League, the Nigeria National League (NNL), Ogun State is set to host Match Commissioner Seminar.
The seminar is set to accommodate the Southern match commissioners from various leagues, including the NNL (Nigeria National League), the Nigeria Women Football League, and National League One, in the endeavor to elevate the quality and professionalism of match officiating.
The NFF Match Commissioner committee, Vice -Chairman Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has been instrumental in orchestrating this prestigious gathering.
The seminar’s venue is set at NUT Hall, located conveniently opposite MKO Abiola Int. Stadium Kuto Abeokuta, and proceedings are scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM on Monday.
This commendable development has been made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Ogun State Governor and the new Commissioner of Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, who have generously endorsed and supported the proposal for hosting the seminar.
Their commitment to advancing football in the region and the nation at large is laudable and sets a positive precedent for football development.
The seminar promises to be an enriching experience, offering valuable insights and educational opportunities for match commissioners from the Southern Zone. The collective efforts of those involved, from the government of Ogun State to the passionate organisers, are poised to shape the future of football officiating in Nigeria.
