Obaseki Women’s Football Tournament: David Grace Targets Victory with Confluence Queens

Ahead of the kick-off of the Betsy Obaseki Women’s Football Tournament, David Grace has targeted victory with Confluence Queens.

The tournament will be held in Benin City between Monday October 23, and Wednesday November 1, 2023 will be hosted in four sports facilities in the state, including the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

The total prize money will be shared among the overall winners, first runners-up, second runners-up, and other participating teams as consolation prizes.

Grace joined Confluence Queens after winning the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) with Delta Queens last season.

The Midfield maestro told NAIRA SPORTS that she and her teammate will do what they know how to do best in the preseason tourney.

She said, “I am glad to have a new home as  part of a great club CONFLUENCE QUEENS FC. Being in the team We are not just going to participate at the obaseki preseason tournament, we are going to do what we know how to do best and match out as a champion by winning  the trophy.

“Not just that we are also using this tournament to prepare ahead of 2023/2024 Season and I believe that by the Grace of God we will come out with a great result at the end of the season.

Confluence Queens are in Group B alongside Bayelsa Queens and Nasarawa Amazons.
