NPFL: We needed to show Sporting Lagos superiority – Remo Stars

The coach of Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmoded has confirmed that they needed to show superiority over Sporting Lagos.

Sporting Lagos suffered her first defeat of the season to Remo Stars in South West Derby on Sunday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The clash which ended 2-1 in favor of the host see the Noisy Lagosians conceded the first goal of the season.

Reacting after the game, coach “We needed the win to show that the game in Bayelsa wasn’t a wasted energy”

“Most importantly we played a team just coming from the NNL, and we needed to show superiority”

With the results, Remo Stars top the league table.
