Speaking after the game, the captain of Nasarawa Amazons, Mathias Josephine, said, “I’m disappointed we couldn’t get a goal despite the efforts by the team, and I feel very disappointed.” The midfielder, speaking further to NAIRASPORTS, also stated she will be in talks with the team on how to improve their performance. “I’ll talk to them both on and off the pitch in order to improve our performances,” she stated.

Mathias Josephine will be looking to ensure the team stays in contention in order to have a chance of moving to the next round.
