Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly on the verge of signing Napoli’s prolific striker Victor Osimhen, according to Italian media outlets.
This move could signal a changing of the guard at the French club, potentially replacing Kylian Mbappé’s attacking presence.
News suggests an agreement has been reached with the 25-year-old Nigerian forward, who is expected to fill the void left by Mbappé’s rumored departure.
Osimhen recently signed a contract extension with Napoli, including a hefty €130 million release clause. PSG seems undeterred, prepared to meet this clause to secure Osimhen’s talents.
Il Mattino, an Italian newspaper, reports that Osimhen’s move to PSG is accompanied by a highly lucrative contract. He’s expected to earn a staggering €13 million annually (approximately N17 billion) over a four-year period.
The deal reportedly grants him additional control over his image rights, further sweetening the pot.
