African Cup Of Nations silver medallist Ademola Lookman has revealed that Senegal legend Sadio Mane is his role model.
The Atalanta forward has regained his form in the Italian Serie A, netting 13 goals for Gasperini’s side to become the highest goal scorer for La Dea.
Speaking to The Athletic, Lookman stated, “The guy who I always looked at the most would have to be Sadio Mane. Looking at his threat in the box, his threat in those little tight spaces, his movement — I have watched a lot of his games in particular.”
The former Everton star has continued his rejuvenation with Atalanta, and after a stellar African Cup Of Nations Campaign for Nigeria, he has netted 8 goals so far this season for Atalanta.
Ademola Lookman will be looking to add to his goal tally for Atalanta when they go up against Liverpool in the Europa League Quarter Finals.
