Over 500 women football players set for 2024 SheFootball Conference

The management of the SheFootball Conference have released the theme for the 2024 edition of the noble event in promoting the Girl Child.

The 2024 SheFootball Conference’s theme is ‘Women Football Development And The Path To Greatness’.

The annual SheFootball Conference have been scheduled to take place on January four to six. The conference will hold on January four, coaches workshop and training will be held on January five, while the SheFootball Cup will take place on Saturday, January six. 

The founder of SheFootball, Ayisat Yusuf, said the 2024 edition have been expanded to include the workshop and training for grassroots coaches and players where they will be lectured by seasoned A list coaches about the rudiments of the game and leadership strategies.

Ayisat Yusuf explained that the theme for the 2024 event was carefully chosen in inspiring the Girl Child and by giving them impactful purpose in the society.

The director of the SheFootball, Abolore AbdulRahmon disclosed that, the 2024 edition will be an improvement of the previous edition and lots of exciting opportunities are been lined up for the women grassroots football players and coaches to gain more knowledge about the game.

The 2024 SheFootball Conference will hold at the Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) hall at the national stadium, Surulere.

Over 500 women football players are expected to take part in the 2024 SheFootball Conference.

The Conference which is billed to feature international speakers and trainers from the UK, Denmark, Italy and Kenya will explore all options to enhance Girl Power.
