From the initial 24 summoned member squad, South Africa won’t with Mexico-based player Sinoxolo cesane when they take on Nigeria in a crunch Olympic qualifier.
The 23 year old is the only missing player from the group that started to settle in Abuja on Sunday.
The rest are deemed fit, with several overseas-based players present for the highly anticipated showdown.
The Mazatlan midfielder is expected to be available when South Africa host the return leg on 9th April, 2024 in Pretoria.
Received maiden call-up last year, Cesane has been in terrific form with compatriot Hilda Magaia in the Liga MX.
