The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, has been confirmed as the next institution to host the 2024 Nigerian Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA).
This was contained in a letter of award of hosting rights addressed to the school rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, signed by the Secretary General of the Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria, Mas’ud Elelu.
According to reports, “At the COHEADS meeting held on February 27th, 2024, the Council resolved to grant your institution the hosting rights for NIPOGA 2024.

Reacting to this development, the Rector commended COHEADS and the NIPOGA council for granting the Federal Polytechnic Offa hosting rights for the first time in the history of the Polytechnic.
While congratulating the Rector, the management team, and the Polytechnic community, the Head of the Public Relations Unit, Mrs. Esther Folake Oyinloye, described the Rector as a leader who is passionate about driving development at the Polytechnic in all ramifications.
She said Dr. Kadiri’s led management has set many records in the history of the Polytechnic based on development, adding that the NIPOGA 2024 hosting rights are another first of their kind in the history of the institution under the leadership of the visionary Rector.
