NFF set to sanction Match Commissioners over negligence

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has warned to sanction match Commissioners who are negligent in the activities as their role during a Match.

The Chairman for NFF Match Commissioner Committee, Alhaji Babgana Kalli, made this statement in the 2023 NFF Match Commissioners seminar for Southern province held on Monday at NUT hall, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

He added that they have experienced this type of match Commissioners in last season which has hindered our activities.

“Each match Commissioner should be conscious of what of their activities and to carry the assignment assigned accordingly. The match Commissioners should always look cooperate to avoid the diversity of the Committee.

“Be in your suit or in your blazer and during the technical coordination meeting the committee will not allow any match commissioners to use foreign club jersey or Nigerian club jersey,” Alhaji Babgana said.

He also added that “the match Commissioners should be conscious and also follow the process of match commissioning, because the Committee will not hesitate to sanction any Commissioners who is found in the negligent in performing his duty or in the surgeon of his duties will also not overlook doors, who by not simple administrative and technical guidelines in the margins.”
