NPFL: I believed in the process – Sporting Lagos coach

The coach of Sporting Lagos, Paul Offor has revealed that he believed in the process of his team as they adapt to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Sporting Lagos suffered her first defeat of the season to Remo Stars in South West Derby on Sunday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The clash which ended 2-1 in favor of the host see the Noisy Lagosians conceded the first goal of the season.

Reacting after the game, coach Paul said,”I saw the disappointment on their faces and how much they wanted to win. Going forward, we’ll continue everything we’re doing. I have confidence in our process.

“It’s not something we could control. The delay to the second half had to happen because playing on that surface could have resulted in injuries, and generally wouldn’t have been a good playing experience both for the players and the fans. But that was not why we lost the game.”

Sporting Lagos will host Niger Tornadoes at Onikan Stadium on Sunday.
