Enyimba FC fans in Aba have a reason to cheer thanks to their club’s General Manager, Kanu Nwankwo.
The legendary Nigerian footballer has arranged five buses to transport fans to Enugu for the crucial match against Rangers International FC on Sunday.
These buses will ferry Enyimba supporters, nicknamed the “People’s Elephant,” to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, where they’ll face off against the home team’s “Flying Antelopes.”
The match on Match Day 35 of the Nigerian Premier Football League promises to be a spectacle, pitting the league leaders, Rangers, against the defending champions, Enyimba, who are currently second in the table.
The clash kicks off at 4 pm local time, with both sets of fans expected to create a vibrant atmosphere at “The Cathedral,” as the stadium is affectionately known.
Kanu, who assumed the Enyimba General Manager role last year, continues to demonstrate his commitment to the club and its supporters.
