Police finally lifts Ogun SWAN Security Cup

The Nigeria Police football team has finally won the security and safety football tournament in Ogun State.

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Ogun State branch, organized the security and safety football tournament to promote solidarity among the state’s security forces.

In an exciting final at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta, police defeated the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) 6-5 in the penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regular time.

Earlier, the Nigerian Correctional Service team won by a walkover after the opposing team, the Nigeria Customs Service, failed to turn up for the match.
